QUESTION: Hi Stark! If you had a choice, would you rather live in Los Angeles or NYC, and why? Trish
ANSWER: Well Trish, that's a great question. I have lived in LA for nine years now (which I can't even believe), and I visit New York several times a year. I love New York, and I have always wanted to live there for some portion of my life. I love the idea of not having a car, and having everything I need be literally walking distance away-- grocery store, theatre, bars, etc. Someday I hope for work to take me there for awhile, so I can experience it. I'll have an answer for you once I've accomplished that. *********************************

Stark, I guess this really isn't a question. I just want to let you know, I have had some very horrible personal issues the past year, and by simply watching your films, you ease my pain and make me feel very happy. You are somebody that has a special gift as an actor... I have so much respect for you, Stark, and want you to know that your acting made me realise life isn't that bad after all. Thanks for reading this. Debbie. ***********************************************

QUESTION: Hello Stark, What film is the worst you have ever seen? Ron.
ANSWER: Allright Ron, you really made me think with this one. I'm actually a huge fan of "so bad it's good" films, and my favorite way to watch them is on an old Comedy Central program called "Mystery Science Theater 3000." If you've never heard of it, here's the set-up: it was a TV show where this guy Joel is stuck alone on a satellite in space, and is forced to watch the worst movies of all time, pretty much all of the time. So he built some robot friends, so he wouldn't have to endure the movies alone. So the TV show "Mystery Science Theater 3000" is really just a different awful movie each episode, but what makes it great is that at the bottom of the screen, you can see the silouettes of Joel and his two robot friends, and the whole time they are cracking jokes about the awfulness of the film, just like you would with your friends. These days, the only way to get the MST3K episodes is on DVD. But they are absolutely worth a look, especially if you can appreciate a bad movie once in a while. To answer your question, the worst movie I ever saw was on MST3K, and it's called "Gamera". It's about a Godzilla-like creature pic (named Gamera) except it's a huge turtle. He breathes fire and can fly into outer space by spinning like a flying saucer, and he does battle with other huge monsters. In the movie, (the first of many Gamera films) Gamera is awakened by an atomic blast in the Arctic, goes on a rampage, but a little Japanese boy likes and understands him. Here is a still from the film: ***********************************************

QUESTION: Stark, Do you and your twin brother look the same? I was curious as I am a twin and we look like sisters but hardly look like twins. Love, Kate
ANSWER: Kate, No, my brother and I are fraternal twins, and we actually don't look that much alike. He has brown hair and a football players build. We look like brothers, for sure, but not twins. He looks more like our dad, and I have our mom's coloring and features. ***********************************************

QUESTION: Hello there! Do you smoke or drink on occasion? Or are you against that? By the way, you are a very good looking and talented young man. Your number one fan, Travis Ginther

ANSWER: Travis, No, I'm not a smoker, although I can't say I've never tried one. But I do enjoy the occasional drink every once in a while. Less now than when I was in college, for sure. I just can't hang like I used to. I keep a very early morning workout schedule now, so I usually get tired around 11, whether I've been drinking or not. But if there's a real reason to celebrate, I will definitely partake a little. ***********************************************

QUESTION: Mr. Sands, do you own any pets??? Scott
ANSWER: Yes, Scott, I do. Growing up, my family always had lots of pets-- multiple dogs, cats, hamsters, turtles, flying squirrels (no joke), etc. So I love animals. In my last apartment, I wanted to get a dog, but it was against the rules in my lease. I found a flyer about giving away kittens, and checked it out. I wanted to get one, but when I got there, there were only two left, and I couldn't bear to split them up, so now I have had Cougar and Lynx for about 4 years. They are mixed-breed tabbys. I will probably also get a dog in the next few years. ************************************************

QUESTION: Stark, I have a twin also, and we are really really close. Are you and your twin close? Angela, of Austin Texas
ANSWER: Angela, You obviously know what it's like. To be able to grow up with someone who is exactly your age, who you have played with for both your entire lives-- there's nothing like it. Yes, we are very close, despite being very different people. My brother is now married, with a 17-month old daughter, and lives in Kansas. He works in commercial real estate, and has never had any desire to act, or sing, or anything like that. In fact, he doesn't even really like having his picture taken-- and it's what I do for a living. I can say without question that my brother is my closest friend. We've been through a lot.
